About the guest interviewee:
Brett Branco is an Assistant Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Associate Director of the Aquatic Research and Environmental Assessment Center at CUNY – Brooklyn College. He has served on the Executive Council of the SRIJB since its inception in 2012 and is the Director of the Urban Sustainability Program at Brooklyn College. His research focuses on understanding the dynamics and water quality of shallow urban water bodies and he’s worked in Jamaica Bay and New York City’s parks since 2009. Branco holds a Ph.D. in Oceanography (University of Connecticut, 2007).
